TENSOSCULPTURE
It is a term that evokes the art of construction, suggesting a close relationship with architectural design. Is a practice grounded in tension as a generative principle. Form does not arise from mass or volume, but from forces held in equilibrium, stretching, suspension, resistance. The configuration exists in a continuous negotiation between opposing vectors, sustained by tension rather than solidity.
Emptiness is not a residual condition but a central one. The void is activated by tension and becomes perceptible through the forces that traverse it. Elements do not enclose space; they reveal it. What appears is the visible trace of an invisible balance. The structures are constructed within a frame that functions as an active spatial device. The frame articulates multiple layers of space: the space in front of the work, the space of the frame, and the space behind it. Vision passes through the structure, connecting the sculpture to its surrounding environment.
The viewer’s gaze is required to move. Elements of the composition enter into direct relation with the space behind the frame, activating depth and distance. The eye performs a kind of visual parkour, shifting between foreground, structure, and background. The work operates as a threshold rather than an object, inviting an active experience of space and emptiness.
Process is central to this practice. I do not begin with a predefined project, but with an open process of construction that unfolds over time. Using a palette of tools and often non-artistic materials, chosen for their physical and tensional properties, the composition develops step by step as a search for equilibrium. The process is both rigorous and playful, unfolding as a form of active meditation.
The resulting compositions are asymmetrical yet stable and structurally resolved. Stability is not imposed, but found.
Tensosculpture does not represent form; it activates perception.

- This is an artistic process indicated for the visualization of absence and structured void.
- Do not view if:
– you expect fullness or reassurance
Take special care:
– space may appear denser than expected - View at your own pace.
No correct angle or duration is prescribed. - Possible side effects
– increased awareness of emptiness
If symptoms persist, do not attempt to resolve them. - Excessive exposure may result in:
– confusion between presence and absence
No antidote is known. - Keep away from excessive explanation.
- This work contains no active substances.
All effects are produced by the viewer.
